Chapter 16. Ends with “where there is life, there is hope.” Super rough day for me today. Very angry at the world. The book softened it a little.

Chapter 15. Flashback…Marcus saves the day and takes Nessa’s place in the mermaid dance. Poor Nessa…glad she drew the line at doing tha crazy dance.

Chapter 14. Marcus joins the mutiny. I like him. They have discovered that fired employees are not removed from the website…except Nessa. There may be payroll fraud taking place.

Chapter 13. X is planning to fire Trisha! He suspects her of “shenanigans.” Carter is turning Nessa’s unemployment case over to another worker because of his friendship that is developing with Nessa.

Chapter 12. Cute…flashback to when they were instructed to do synchronized chair dancing. Crazy!

Chapter 11. Funny! Trisha sends Nessa and Jane a copy of The Art of War. And she loads blue glitter into the air ducts and glitter bimbs the office! Hilarious!

Chapter 10. I love that mom and the bridge club are on the case and that they brought Nessa food. What a well-meaning momma!

Chapter 10. Funniest thing on this one was poor Trisha driving around with a piece of Xavier’s foot in a baggy that she is supposed to “do something with.”

Chapter 8. The office Olympics during their lunch break! It nails the clueless CRO role that Xavier is playing. What a jerk! And he thinks he is fostering cohesion!

Chapter 7. This book is hilarious. Carter Beckett from the unemployment office is adorable. Xavier now has some mysterious foot infection…from the astroturf sabotage. OMG! So funny!!!

Chapter 6. So funny! They are listening in on Xavier and have found him talking to himself and that he has taken his cat to the office and is sleeping there. Cat is name Haiku. Then Nessa’s kittens get the receiver, flip it to transmit, and have him convinced he is going crazy as he hears the kittens. Hilarious!

Chapter 5. So funny…their drunken war plan against Xavier and bugging the conference room and trying to give him a disease via his AstroTurf and a dog disease!

Chapter 4. Oh Xavier! What a character and the classic annoying head honcho trying to get everyone to coheese through social interaction…outside company time. So clueless.

Chapter 3. She goes to the unemployment office and they agree that being fired for “your face and the expressions it makes” is not a normal or fireable offense. The worker reared back though when she shot him a mean look. The visuals in this book are really funny. I like the kitten references.

Chapter 2. Love the mom! And how she gets his name wrong and wants to call their mothers!

Chapter 1. Loved it! Very humorous first chapter and intro to the characters.
