Fabulous book if a bit lengthy

Yet another disappointing start. Having read about 10% of the book I predict the following: 1. This book is more or less only about how bad it can be to be a woman in Indian culture 2. It does not end well. Hopefully the author proves me wrong, otherwise finishing this book will be a challenge.

Once again I am starting a book I have no idea why is on my to-read list but here we go.

Author Meera gives us another page turner of a story packed in a novel.
