Status Updates From Cat Person

Last book I read was a long, meandering, repetitious mess. Roupenian’s Cat Person is the antibody. Tight, socially brutal, surprising stories that seem inevitable in hindsight. A lot like life but with a little more poetry. Sad that I will be finished with this one soon with no other audiobooks of hers available! Publishers: Please fix!

I watched the movie inspired by this short story for my movie club last week and it was.... uncomfortable... but the true female experience! Curious to see how well the movie got it.

So this story, VERY well written, i needed to figure stuff out for my study and it was a puzzle (which I luckily succeed) Yet the story itself, shows soo many wrong doings and decisions but it mirrors real life situations which is probably worse if you think about that…
