So if it is destined for you, it is bound to come to you whether you like it or dislike it.

Thus if you are placed in any condition or raised to any position, do not speak of it to anyone...It may be that the thing about which you speak may be removed from you and the thing which you think to be permanent and abiding may undergo a change so that you will be put to shame before those to whom you spoke about them.

When you die to the created world, you will be told: “Allah have mercy on you! May He now let you die to passionate desire.” When you die to your passionate desire, you will be told: "Allah have mercy on you! May He now let you die to your willing and wishing." When you die to your will, you will be told: "Allah have mercy on you! May He now restore you to a life beyond which there is no death."
