this had so much potential to be good and i was so interested in the plot, but there were just no stakes whatsoever. the two characters pretty much immediately began a relationship, and that’s great if you’re into that but I was looking for some more build up or tension or something in between. i was also just not a huge fan of the writing in this either but i would be willing to give another book a chance.
