well i can see why milan kundera admired this author! all this talk about women, here and there, then and later. it’s endless, the narrator is an eternal rake, that’s for sure

he's deadass like that old boisterous man at the cash making extensive talk with the cashier and he's interesting at times but also so old and his age shows when he talks but he's funny here and there and was quite progressive back in the days and he's cringe asf but you can't bring yourself to ask him to shut up bcs he's lived so many lives and you wanna hear and believe it well, but also... stop talking! xoxo
