Glad to see that the main reason for my grief in Book 1 is finally being addressed here. Aren simply loving Lara isn’t enough if he’s going to treat her the same way her father, Serin, and everyone else did. It is unbelievably idiotic to think that loving her somehow makes his actions different from theirs. They all used her for their own benefit and casted her aside afterwards. He was just as guilty

Now for my thoughts…I ATE UP ready Aren and Lara content again I was literally screaming. As always I love Aren and I feel like he knows Lara so well now and as for Lara it’s crazy how weak she is! I’m also so scared of her getting pregos! No baby in this house ma’am! Her and Aren legit just got married and they need alone time. Other than that I’m excited for them to see Keris and work with him!

These chapters were actually included in my copy of the Inadequate Heir! I didn’t realize this was a separate “3.5” edition until stalking Danielle’s good reads page lmao😂 but idk if this technically should count as a part of my 6 book year challenge, I may update the 6 books to 7 since this will count even tho it was 6 chapters
