The stories range from Quite Clever, to Excellent - so I am quite happy. It’s amazing how short the tales are, too - so yah, okay, characterization is not a priority, but inventive plotting at a quick pace is the reason for coming.

These stories continue to be winners. Very happy.

I’m low on short story anthologies, except for some Horror options, so while I think about what I want to go after in that vein in the New Year, I’m knocking off some collections (dipping in between novels). This one is competing very well with the John Dickson Carr short story book I finished not long ago. Of note here is how clever the stories are, versus how few pages are on offer per tale.
