I’m going to DNF this. It might be better read as a physical book than an audiobook. I’m not a fan of the narrator. The characters are fun but the tone reminds me more of a YA novel …or maybe I’m just not a huge fan of “cozy” fantasy.

Really bad narration by Christina Carman. She gives the main character a voice like a wrinkled old GOBLIN. I'm guessing the author wanted an empowered elderly woman. Not a ridiculous caricature that doesn't even sound like a woman.
The narration is what I would expect for a children's book (which this book is not). Extreme and ridiculous.
Trying to listen to the story without letting the narration ruin it.
