The letter to her parents here is maybe the best one. This is peak COVID paranoia. "Officer Omar will be calling you to confirm my identity. Please tell him I'm not a squatter. Also I've decided to paint my bedroom black. I know you'll hate it but tough nuts. I need a safe, dark, non distracting space in which to nap and read. I find the current toupey beige overwhelming.
