Status Updates From Still the Stars

Starting this book I didn't realise on how it was written ? Very unique and interesting

There are hopes one holds,
waiting their whole life for.
Ones that you spend more
moments imagining than
there are grains of sand
on all the shores—
wishes you spin like sugar
in your wildest dreams.

I’m just wishing for the
comfort of my bookshelves
and our worn-in, orange sofa,
and that I could go back to
a time that was simpler.

When my father calls me Moonlight,
I am reminded that I am from someone.
at I was born of love in the darkness,
where there’s whole universes
in each letter of my name.
