So deep into the characters at this point. It’s amazing how much detail King conveys, how expertly so, and how he makes us care about these people. The flashbacks are very well done, and none of the racy content is gratuitous. The mystery looms ahead, menacing and potentially terrifying. I’m so pleased with this book so far.

This hits much harder if you’ve already read The Dark Half (and Cujo and Dead Zone).
