Idk man, I wouldn’t be letting Hailen run off anywhere. And as soon as Kiara was like “they’re my boys too” I would have been like “YEAH WELL WE SHOULD HAVE PROBABLY DISCUSSED THIS TOGETHER BECAUSE YOU CUT ME OUT” anyway it’s fine, I’m fine.

I am enjoying the plot of this story at its base level, but something is different about the story telling in this book that feels off. The repetition is much higher in this volume than in others. I am hoping that this is a one off. I’m still going to finish it, as I am invested in what happens in the larger story arc of the Hunter

I am enjoying the course of the story, and will continue, but the repetition (which is normally something I don’t mind because these books are so long and they help me stay grounded in the story) is a bit more heavy handed in this installment.

I didn’t expect the time skip from book 4 to 5! I like it though. I should have probably read the night guild book first. I think Andy said to read it first….but it’s too late for that.
