Status Updates From The Taste of Desert Green

Currently hooked on this heartbreaking story. My journey whilst reading this book is figuring out why this form of heartsche and angst works so well for me. Slowly uncovering why these men think theyre unlovable whilst learning that they also deserve love is addictive and gut wrenching at the same time.

No emotional connection to carry me through the slow story.

“If I spend the rest of my life single, I’m all right with that.” He gave a small chuckle. “I don’t need anyone else. I love you because you’re you, not because I need to love someone.”

I’m into the primary plot but dang 😕 the secondary/Brandon plot is getting tiresome. I wish it would get resolved already. The combined angst of the two plots is more angst that I want.
