Plots got plotted, Aileen and Claude got stupid, Lilia is actually not too insufferable, Sahra is semi-sympathetic, Ares tries to RAPE SERENA WHAT THE FUCK??? The Holy King (Baal Shah Ashmael) is not too much of an ugly drowned rat anymore, and I reminded myself on just why this series is super good.

This book has three UGLY RATS. They are Baal Shah Ashmael, Sahra and Ares. These UGLY RATS are bothering my queens Aileen and Roxanne.

I can only hope these UGLY RATS suffer the consequences of their UGLY RAT actions. Like kidnapping Aileen & Co to force them into the Imperial Harem of the UGLY RAT Baal Shah Ashmael.

I don't know how Aileen and company keep getting into these scenarios.

The Holy King of Ashamael (Baal Shah Ashmael???) is on my hit list. He's arrogant and looks like AN UGLY RAT. He should leave Aileen tf alone.

Lilian is slightly more tolerable in this volume than in all the previous ones. A fucking shocker I tell you.

Claude is cute and grumpy, and the illustrations are once again cute and light.

How this series keeps Lilia Renoise breathing via oxygen tube is alarming. I thought we were already done with hee, but it seems we're back IN THE SAME FUCKING BUILDING AGAIN.

Either way, Aileen is very entertaining, as always.

Okay the setup is really nice and interesting. Hope it delivers.

I read vol.3 of this in June or July of 2024....

Anyway, super stoked for more Aileen and Claude!
