i’ve finished the first section, most of which was read yesterday. not really a poetry person but this is fucking devastating me. i get why people like him now, i just sobbed for 5 minutes at amazon orders

Audiobook read by poet. He sounds like he's on the verge of tears at all times. I know he has a sense of humor- I've read it in his novel & poetry. But where is it in the reading?
I feel obnoxious asking for a more expressive reading.
