Status Updates From Pomniejsi wędrowcy

Picking up this book again! Reading along with the audiobook helps A TON when trying to understand it. Plus, the author has a lovely voice :)

It took a second to figure out this prose, then I could not stop reading. It’s experimental a way that isn’t off-putting, it is so essential and imaginative and intentional. I think I may have been more engaged in the prose than the plot… can’t even tell for sure.

I think this book would be fun to read out loud, (un)fortunately I just got my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday so I can't do that lol.

I think this book is my first 'proper' literary read. It really challenges the medium of writing with its sentenc structure, size, and sometimes lack of periods. Much more challenging than Sally Rooney's lack of quotation marks!
