Wow I’m surprised that Gracewood figured it out and shit hit the fan so early in the story. Peak drama. I feel for Viola, having someone else think who you are is a sin is very sad.

I keep having to pause to just like scream into the void because this book is SO GOOD. the audiobook is PERFECTION. I have goosebumps. I'm CRYING. The yearninggggggg 😩😩😩 I CRY

Alexis Hall does not know how to end an argument

As sex scenes go, not terrible, but particularly boring so very much like the rest of the book tbh

Really weird tonal break. I like Miranda but she’s a terry pratchett character in an otherwise fairly bland novel.

This book does not need to be 450 pages

The issue with introducing Gracewood’s feelings so early is that instead of the push and pull of discovery, as one might think would be important to this book, given the subject, now it’s just the push and push away of insecurity. The excuse of society is just an excuse despite the real danger of it, because too many things are out in the open! There’s no tension.
