There are no words to scab over our wounds, but we know better than to bother trying. Sometimes all there is is knowing that someone else sees you, and that has to be enough .

All we have are words and silence, their own binary pattern of meaning.

Highly doubt that's the whole story.

Maybe life was just simpler back then, caught between the salt air and the waves and friends that it feels like you'll have forever.
