This book is great!…for a rough draft. I don’t think I’ve seen a clearer case of an author being let down by the editor. (Was there even an editor?? I really have to wonder.) The story had potential, but the writing was choppy/disjointed, the same sentences were repeated verbatim three pages apart, there were tense changes, and a myriad other things. DNF about halfway through.
