Main is kinda pathetic but I've been on a streak w books that involve going to Nevada and absolutely spiraling out in an entertaining way

actively changing the way i think of and view the world had to take a pause when we shifted out of maria’s perspective
i wasn’t ready to leave her, the way she talks about dissociation and how she can’t stop thinking about being trans it consumes her was all so very real to me. being trans includes some sort of dissociation to survive in a body that is so wrong. i’m warming up to james
