Status Updates From Cannery Row (Cannery Row, #1)

I am really not enjoying this story. I do not like that the environment and scenes are not described in as much detail as the minutiae. It is also hard to have any connection with any of the characters. I know it really does not have a plot, but that is ok with me. The feel of the book and the story just really do not do it for me. I will finish it, simply because it is short.
