Status Updates From The Caretaker

This book is so overwritten it has to be intentional.

some good visuals, picking up speed. still a little lost in where exactly the narrative is going, or if it’s just gonna be pretty abstract throughout. but i’m enjoying it

the first “chapter” was such an interesting character study, and it set up an intense atmosphere that i feel was completely brushed past in this second chapter. the Caretaker was introduced as such a secretive individual and this second chapter just undid all that it had laid down. this feels like Megalopolis, hoping that it isn’t

finally picked this back up and started reading again. reached the second “chapter.” super interesting so far. such carefully crafted dialogue and atmosphere so far

here we go. been a while since i’ve read this book so i started from the beginning, and wow is it interesting

written incredibly well, i just don’t know what the fuck is going on or why i should care
