DNF. It’s very rare, but this book was just flat. There was plenty that could have been exciting and it stayed off really well. But I didn’t feel the chemistry between any of the characters. Especially the MCs. Every effort between the two of them seemed forced. And the writing itself was too convoluted. Like you had to jump through hoops to figure out what was going on. Was a miss for me.
