The writing immediately reminds me of SALT GROWS HEAVY, and I really didn't enjoy that book, so I already know I'm not going to vibe with this book. DNFing early so this book doesn't send me into a reading slump.

Gonna put this out here as a theory. I saw someone say the book had incest so is she Father’s daughter? Is she the gender guys sister? Also gnc icon getting it on with a hot lady and man apparently goodreads forgot the queer tag LMAO. “He was getting head from the soldier” had me drop my pencil like, “huh”
