They are both reeling from what happened with lyr. They are trying to navigate the situation

Lyr is set to marry viktor who is related to the horrible imperator.
After meera and Morgana are taken the imperator basically imprisons Lyr at the shadow stronghold in preparation for taking her back to his area.
Lyr calls Rhyan and he comes to her and leaves her. Goes to fight his dad for the key and then the two of them travel to get out.

Meera and Morgana are being circled by arkadim and it seems like Arianna signed away someone most likely lyr

Met Ryan’s dad. What an absolute asshole and mega creep. Gross
Rhyan did not take seeing his father well. He also threatened literally everything that Lyr holds dear. Mr hart wants Rhyan back and is willing to go to extreme lengths to do so

Rhyan is avoiding Lyr and I’m not sure why.
Morgana found out that Jules is alive and being held captive

The imperator is gross and a sleaze ball and I don’t like him at all.
Tristan betrayed Lyr by having an engagement with her cousin (who she hates) without formally breaking things off with her. And never telling her until it was made public not a good look at all.

Ugh love lyr and Rhyan.
