Thoughts after reading chapter 4:
- I don’t understand the Japanese urge to take a bath in all circumstances. Like you just got rained on, why do you need to take a bath? At someone else’s house?
- Aah so that guy is still her fiancé and actually does like her. She could’ve accepted him if it wasn’t for her friend. I bet he doesn’t even like her friend. He’s definitely coming to see her next volume…

Thoughts after reading chapter 3:
- I’m starting to think Atsumori likes playing hard to get. He runs so hot and so cold so quickly it’s going to give me a fever.
- Aww Niki is a good friend and they’re friendship is sweet.
- Wait her (ex?) fiancé wanted to go to Tokyo?! I can smell the conflict coming!
- Girl you can’t just kiss someone when they’re sleeping, even if it is only on the cheek.

Thoughts after reading chapter 2:
- I can absolutely foresee Atsumori becoming jealous of how friendly Rento is with Niki. Although I don’t know if Rento would get serious because he seems like just the nice friend.
- Woah the major switch in personality in Atsumori as soon as he gets caught out is drastic!
- The hand-holding is so cute. I like that it wasn’t without purpose so it didn’t feel forced.

Thoughts after reading chapter 1:
- Absolutely fantastic!
- I love Atsumori’s bluntness. It’s refreshingly not that rude. And I love how Niki isn’t a pushover to him or her strict parents. They’re dynamic is great and I don’t mind the age gap.
- Arranged marriages at 13 are outdated, but this is more forced than arranged because she doesn’t even have a choice!
- Waiting 2 years to see him is dedication!

- So Kodansha has made its way to Hoopla! Well done Hoopla! I may finally stop neglecting you
- The art is so cute and I’m very intrigued by the storyline. Can’t wait to dig in👏🏻

…zu entfliehen. Der Zeichenstil ist wirklich sehr süß. Ich mag ihn sehr. Der Storyaufbau ist simpel, aber spannend. Ich mag die Kombination der beiden. 🥰

Ich mag Nishiki sehr. Sie ist so schön unschuldig und geht ihren Gefühlen nach, auch wenn sie sich aus den familiären Zwängen teilweise einfach nur befreien will. Sie schafft es und geht nach Tokio. Dort sucht sie dann Atsumori auf, der so tut als ob er sie nicht kennt. Doch er nimmt sich Nishiki an und führt sie herum. Die beiden lernen sich besser kennen und er nutzt Nishiki um selbst familiären Zwängen…
