THEY ARE EVERYTHINGTO MEEE

“I appreciate you being respectful of my boundaries or whatever

but come disrespect me”

holy shit. Jake.

Rereading the series in rough chronological order for fun so I stopped at “Ten Years Later” and am moving on to Fire Season. It’s a lovely bit of exquisite torture.

I read 5% before bed but then I read about 25% between the hours of 2:20-5:30 bc my period is due meaning my 2:30 am wake up cycle is back, baby. Anyway, i don’t love second chance or long long timeline romances, but this one is linear which is making up a lot for the trope I don’t adore. It’s great so far, as to be expected w KD Casey.

That one scene where the mc's mom gives him lactaid so he can drink a milkshake... normalize hot people with digestive issues! We're so valid and our tummies hurt.

wishing I'd read these closer together, keep looking up the other books trying to remember who's who

i don't even understand what that fight was about, but apparently it was big enough for a 10 year time jump.
