This book is so bad and so unnecessarily long seriously this book could be trimmed into a quarter of it's size and it'd still be too long. I got off topic- anyway because it's so fucking long and pointless I was planning to read this in one sitting but I have to leave it for another because I've read 200 pages and almost nothing has happened and I'm tired and burnt out from this shit book

Nothing too crazy- Liv snoops around finds evidence gets an iPad and Constantine finds her and they chat and Liv tries to convince him something's amiss... and for some reason he's still trying to flirt with her??? LOL??? what

Liv makes up her mind that the Sirens are indeed related to the missing cases. Wow Liv you're really winning detective of the year I found that out within the first 10% of the book and we're 60% through

Nothing burger; Liv gets told that there was no doctor that she originally spoke to and she lashes out and when Constantine tries to help her out and calm her down she just acts enraged and continues to be childish and take no criticism well lol. Why are we even trying to entertain Liv is actually interesting enough to have friends let alone a romantic interest

So Liv and Constantine literally just softcore makeout on the deck for a bit and then is like oh ya we should go see Will 💀 What is this romance bro it's the lamest ass shit with barely any connection

Liv wakes up to a scary monster in her bathroom goes to Constantine and she basically wants to fuck him but she's too socially anxious and basically his entire chapter was just awkward teenage anxt and lust 💀 whole nothing burger bro

Just more of Liv doing things getting more "subtle" clues on what's going on but nothing interesting. At a dance party. Con is sus too now I guess.

MC confides to Justin about all her anxieties and fears about the ship and he dismisses them and is like you're crazy and then they gossip a bit on Constantine dad owning the ship and then MC wants to go visit Raj after supposedly straining his muscle but Cintia is like nah let's not bug him he's probably not feeling the best since the meds are wearing off... which is like the poorest excuse ever btw

MC notices Raj disappears after hanging out with siren. She tries to go find him only to find the sirens all dresses up suspiciously looking the same kind of like they were in a ritual and getting stink eye from them and Eduardo one of the staff and then she goes to Justin which also has that same stink as the Siren's and captain to complain. This girl stupid af

Ch. 15 completed
MC tries to go see Will in the infirmary but again she is turned down. Notices Raj acts different when hanging with the siren and then they disappear.

Ch. 14
She sneaks around where his luggage goes to. It’s carried towards disposal which is Sus af. She loiters around heads 2 deep voices and when she’s caught she’s approached by 2 emotionless pale maids that tell her she’s in the wrong area. She thinks the maids are Sus cuz they are. She texts Will asking about how he’s doing and where his stuff is and after enough pressing he sends a text for help.

Ch. 13 completed
Finally something happens??? Finally she talks to someone about it and actually starts following some sort of investigating intuition??? She gets creeped out with Hilary and leaves wow that’s more progress than she’s done in the entire book. Wow she sees Will’s suitcase and decides to follow where they’re taking it wow that’s the most active she’s been this entire time.

Goes to a magic show. Magician performs dangerous stunt and it goes wrong. MC realizes Thalia is upset when someone intervenes. Apparently the magician is the brother of Thalia too and she went kinda loco after hanging out with the sirens… again I don’t know how you can’t piece it together 💀 dumb as rocks MC

Dumb as rocks MC tells her classmates about what happened and they shrug it off. Justin continue to gaslight MC and say she can’t see Will. 100% sus but our MC is too fucking stupid to even process the possibility of that so whatever.

Ch. 10 completed
Dumb as rocks MC still this time seeing the two missing people (Will and that girl) ghosts and somehow it leaning into horror in her face just for things to stop and all of a sudden things are normal and she is now apparently back stage in a theater with props for shows.

Ch 9 completed
Dumbass MC gets a call in the previous chapter thats sus af and just ignores it and goes about her day. Continues to ask about Will but is refused to see him. She gets a text and again repeats how weird Will is texting again shrugging it off?? What a dumbass. On top of it too the maids just cleared his room before that and she saw one of the sirens clothes in his room? Are we even trying anymore?

Ch. 8 completed
MC lallygags around the ship chats with Constantine and the other classmates. MC thinks the stuff found in the captains bathroom was for the girl that went missing. She calls Will’s phone and all there is is a crackly response calling her name and then hanging up with no answer after recalling several times. She’s also suspicious since Will texted back not in a way he normally does.

Ch. 7 Completed
MC has a gossip session with Cintia exchanges information with her then they go visit the Captain since it was in the itinerary where MC suddenly gets sick and needs to use the Captain's bathroom. She snoops around and realizes the Captain has passengers luggage and figures out its to be missing returned luggage. She thinks the captain feels off but can't put her finger on it

Ch. 6 Completed
Hilary gets introduced at the end. Bingo lady. MC gets a text from Will confirming he's alive. MC learns he's in the infirmary and not his room (which was obvious... this MC is really dumb for supposedly being on a scholarship)

Ch. 5 completed
MC wakes up wonders where Will is supposedly he is sick and in quarantine. She also found seaweed in her room (which Will was covered in in her "nightmare") so real subtle foreshadowing there.

Ch. 4 completed
Incredibly short chapter. MC has a nightmare about Will being possessed in her bedroom slowly consuming her... supposedly. It might not be a nightmare given the synopsis of the book but who knows. The first interesting thing to happen in this book.
