Status Updates From SOLO: What running across m...

Ended up really enjoying the Atlas Mountain section after all. Though also happy to know she got through it without being sexually assaulted (except verbally). Looking forward to the Bolivian Andes!

Pffff I was curious how trailrunning solo in Morocco would go, and indeed, I find myself reading with a feeling of trepidation at the sexist patriarchal culture. A country with such beautiful nature, yet so unsafe for women.

Realised there were only a few pages left to finish the Kyrgyzstan section of the book I of course had to finish it. Feeling very sad that it is already finished, I was yearning for more local interactions! Next is Morocco, curious to see what it will bring.

Gosh, this book makes me want to hit the mountain trails só badly.
