The plan was to finish this book today, but I just had to stop. Reading this book is like climbing a mountain, except you don't feel a sense of accomplishment when you're done. You're just left wondering why you subjected yourself to such torture

These characters have zero indicators of what they are feeling until they are literally screaming and wailing. This book is giving me whiplash
