At the same time also get a strong feeling of wanderlust from Cashel. He seems a sort of restless in that his journey must go on whatever that journey may be.

Captures the spectrum from the military time to the domestic drama at Casa Magni. The relationships are interesting even if observation rather than deeply inhabited.

And i resonate with Cashel embarking on this journey to figuring himself out and along the way getting wrapped up in others’ affairs. Also seeing the realization that most everyone is surprisingly immature and yet that’s what’s interesting.

Definitely moves at a great pace and feels the beginning of a long journey. The philosophy on fictionalizing a biography was interesting as well.

We don’t spend much time in any one circumstance, but we do get each moment as a character building moment. Were following this mad journey and I’m here for it
