At least one of these generals aside from Ran seems to be learning. And I love that Zep suggests bringing Kolt into the bed with all of them. And that all three of them seem to be fine if there will need to be more guys to keep Sal stable. I really love that she mentions jumping on Razor.

Zep and Jase had to talk Sal down from sliding into tyranny. I understand her anger, but it wouldn't be hard for her to be like the Emperor, just like Zep warned her way back in book 3. Kolt had to talk Jase and Zep into believing that feeling the pull of fate doesn't mean that Sal is losing her mind, it's just another skill she has to master.

That definitely bonded Zep and Kolt.

The iliri figured out first that there's a traitor in the Military Command? I forgot that that is part of why they started being kidnapped. Granted, someone is also selling them off. And they've got some CFC blues thinking that doing this makes them superior and right. They want to somehow make Sal look bad by forcing her to frenzy in public.

Razor and Tyr make a good match for friends, surprisingly. And knowing what I know is coming, I think I can guess why Razor smiled about Sal calling Kolt her mate. At least, aside from just being happy for her.
