This is a massive bowl of cheese and I love it! Think something like Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Supernatural but Guy Fawkes, starting with him being born. The entire thing is tounge in cheek with dry and slightly cheeky humor. Then there's the modern day framing device. Campy cheese fest of junk food has no right to be this fun. Glad this comes with an I threw the history book out warning.

I think he had two older sisters which may be missing. But we have ginger hair! Also for a self pub book the writing is actually good!

This book wins for funniest dedication: For the historians: I'm sorry. Buckle up, things are going to get weird.

Library got the ebooks for this series. It is up front about not being historically accurate. As long as it is fun campy horror like the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies or Scream movies, I might enjoy it. Bonus points if Guy Fawkes has the correct hair color.
