I’m taking a break on this book and coming back to it… It’s kind of boring right now.

I'm honestly not going to bother much more with this book. I don't like how it's written, there's too many characters that are all written without depth and the main character isn't particularly likeable imo.

I’m not sure why I thought this might be anything other than the Bachelor with elves. So far it’s not and I’m struggling.
“Her servants brought forth red wine from their olive groves.” has nearly tipped me over the dnf edge…
Even my 7 year old knows wine doesn’t come from olive groves.
