Man, Jasmine and the Genie's conservation is really quite touching. Two lonely people, trapped in different ways. And Genie is the last of his kind after trying to save the rest of the Djinn? Man... I have no words. Still, at least Jasmine was able to escape, even if Rasoul died. On the off chance he is alive, he's going to be pissed.

Well the first act was slow, but things are finally picking up. And Aladdin is stuck in the Cave of Wonders. How does he get out this time? And will we ever get to learn the now ex-Sultan's name?

Hmm, a little slower than I would have liked but we're only about 50 pages into a 400 page book. And it is pretty amusing to see Aladdin's antics at the market as well as how oblivious he is to being in the presence of a princess. Jasmine is just as good as I remember her! But how long before the story really starts to change?
