Status Updates From A Little Like Waking

This is such an odd book

What in the rabbit hole am I reading.
It’s like a modern day Alice in wonderland and I’m terrified I’m going to be upset at the end.

This is such a fun book so far. It would be a fantastic anime movie. The book has illustrations, but the narration of the audiobook is also fantastic (immersive reading)

Oh boy 3 chapters left and it’s been a roller coaster. I still am holding out how that they’re both the dreamer

Took a break from this for school. Back into it now and love how the lore is developing

I have never been more impatient for 2 characters to kiss ever. But I’m really loving Zelda and Langstons’ dynamic. And as always Patches is being as witty as always.

My theory: Langston and Zelda are both dreamers and have found each other in the like dream world, I really like Langston as a character, but I think I have to say patches the cat is my favorite

It’s been a while since I’ve read a book that isn’t Sci-fi or Fantasy or Dystopian. This book is weird and I like it a lot. Though the idea of being stuck in a dream like replica of my life is kinda spooky.
