I hate the title of this book. Idk why, I just do.
“Star crossed” (??) .. more like, go burn in the flames of a dying star.

“Forbidden mates series” (??) .. just, ugh.

This was awful and I hate it. It’s trying to ruin my night.

Idk how I got through the tooth & claws series by this same author. I vaguely recall them being kinda memorable but nothing great. At all. I’m now questioning my sanity.

Ugh. From beginning to end, this fmc bitch was so unrelateable & boring. I was very much NOT invested.
The sex scenes were meh.
The world building was annoyingly long & ultimately useless.

Felt longer than 300 pages in the worse way

Idk why I didn’t think it couldn’t get worse, but it did.
That ending was shit. All of that reading for it to end the way it did, ugh.

This is yet another shit book in the last week that I’ve put on my utter shit shelf. Not only that, the main reason is bc I’ve felt so fucking irritated by the disappointment.

My blood is almost boiling.

The lack of editing though .

Horrendous.

Irritated me to no end when the fmc was looking down at her infant son and the author called him by the mmc’s name.

And then right after, there was a line about the mmc.

Annoying af to read.

So I’m def deleting this immediately after I finish.

What a shit read. So much to rant about.
I think I hate every single character and detail in this book.

“..she was more swayed by logic than chivalry..”

I liked that line.

Everything that happened before so far has been meh until that.

Honestly the story concept was already kinda cringe too. Not really unique of an idea for aliens. And I didn’t like how this has been written so far. The writing is weird. And idk how to pinpoint what’s wrong
