Lots of melodrama. Antiono/Miguel has shifted his entire character from Alpha Male to doting worried father figure. While it is a pov change -- it's still an abrupt personality change to me. Gabriel's at least makes sense given the massive trauma he's going through.

It is at this point you can tell this book was written by two different authors. The characters have shifted in personality ever so slightly, and while it's not bad, it's a bit annoying.

I have not listened enough of this book to give it a rate. But when there is a rape (or what seriously feels like a rape to me) at the beginning of the book, I'm out of it. Maybe there wasn't really a rape, maybe the MC thinks that being thrown up on a desk and forcefully fondled is seduction, or whatever. Not my cup of tea, so I'm out of it

Time for a re-read since I've only read this once, 3 years ago.
