Shaw quotes Ellis as saying that bisexual people are the "leaders of mankind" but that phrase only appears in his book when he is quoting someone else (Edward Carpenter).

Stylistically disastrous, "in this essay I will...", keeps referring to historical information as "sexy", "adorable", "wild", etc. Just hard to view the author as an academic considering the poor quality of her scholarship, conclusions, and presentation. Will grit my teeth and attempt to persevere.
