Islen says that her mother was inside her head tormenting her, which makes me think that it has been going on for some time. But we see her doing it once, when she leaves Arzhur. Unless that came with the butterfly crown? Lol, you could have showed us earlier on that those butterflies were talking and infuencing Islen.

Islen's body is too weak for Meliren but she has also trapped her inside it. So, maybe it's not as weak as Meliren thinks.

Of course Islen got pregnant.
Also, I didn't see Meliren returning and wow, she really sees her daughter's life as worthless...

Those women are probably lying, I don't remember them wanting to take Ilsen with them for her own good in the previous volume. Plus, they were the ones who urged Arzhur to kill her animal companions.

But how could these three old women be Ilsen's wet nurses if they had no children of their own?

And the queen is mad because she overheard him saying to Islen that she's the love of his life? Girl, grow up, your fling was an one time thing.

Why is this turning into "bitter women who are compete each other for a man's affection" ?
The queen's army is attacking and he's preoccupied with her telling Islen that he's not a rapist, which fair, being falsely accused of rape is horrible, but maybe take care of the people who are attacking right now?

Ilsen came to the conclusion that Arzhur r*ped the young queen? How? 🙄

Okay, Ilsen is a bit of a stuck up too. She says she doesn't want any commitment with Arzhur, she leads him on by having sex all the time when she knows he wants to actually be with her, and then has the nerve to be mad that he had an affair with one of the servants, when he was 16 🤡

Yes yes, by all means, jump right to the sex scenes, we don't need yo progress the story further before that. Also, Arzhur says he loves Islen(?) But the moment she says she won't get married or have kids (which makes me believe that she will) he leaves her alone and tells her to find the means to survive by herself 🤷

The art is so pretty! But I expected more(?) Of the story. No matter, I enjoyed reading it.
P.S. the witches are my favorite! They’re the best!
P.S.S. The open ending was a nice choice too!
P.S.S.S. I didn’t care about Arzhur’s “slandering” and “injustice” I only feel sorry for his squire.
