Wow. A lil break. So many things happening I need to process! Speed run: time travel, abandoned worker for 18 (!!!) years, family and kid, retrieving operation with suicide note, memory loss, girlfriend in the future, messed up mind with memories of “past” and “future”. We are at the point where he is trying to fix past.

I just cracked this open but I swear if it turns out that his actual child from the OG time is one of these time traveler assassins/spies and he’s gonna have to battle/kill her at some point

Can a book really prove to be this cliché and average in just the first 40 pages? So disappointed, especially for a book I was so excited about!
