Panic: The narrative is filled with the terror of being a woman. The narrator's thoughts are filled with statistics about rape, like how it's not about attraction but power. The existential dread of being a woman is so perfectly described through the narration and turning into a monster in kind.

Hunger: The ending is pretty choreographed but it fits with the theme. The main character's own hunger and desire for interesting food in spite of the morality is mirrored in the ultra rich who end up buying them for the same purpose.
