I feel like such a slow reader lately
The book so far is fun — I feel like sometimes the tone of the narration for Lu Da’s chapters clashes with the events of the story. Feels too modern compared to the setting of the story. I know she is supposed to be blunt and quick to act, but I think that could’ve been achieved without sacrificing the tone.
