Ooooh!! Cesar is a prick! And I'm loving Eve and her story. Kinda reminds me of Zane.

The women in this chicks family are beyond annoying. The mother and the sister characters really made it hard to finish this book.

I’m not about to play with Tasha. Trying to have me up all night reading.

I really like the story and characters. The bad rendition of Jamaican patois is killing me though.

Hurts to read:
I asked you not to give Cesar my number. It’s a hassle to keep changing it over and over again.” “Why change it? Just talk to the man! You nearly married him three years ago, Yves. There has to be something there.” “Ma, we are over.” “What’s over? Nothing’s over. What could he have done that is so impossible to forgive?” I had to literally bite my tongue to keep from telling her.

I’m hooked. Intrigued. I don’t really know how this is going to unfold and I like it.

"To me [bdsm] seems no different than being heterosexual or lesbian or bi or gay."

One day, people will stop acting like being into bdsm is a sexual orientation.

This really could've used another pair of eyes to proofread before being finalized.

I am loving reading about a character who is incredibly self aware, and yet, due to past hurts and unhealed scars, she isn't as perfectly in tune with herself as she'd like everyone to believe. The good thing about this for me is that I get to "watch" her learn get to know herself better. At least, that's what I think is happening...

I am loving the witty and colorful writing. I am loving Yves' internal dialogue which is honest and revealing, without being overly repetitive. I had to step away from it, because I'm feeling a little angsty about Julian, one of Yves' potential love interests, getting hurt.
