The action is good and I feel like this book has more depth compared to the others in the series but at the same time it’s not pulling me in after the 40% mark and I’m kinda bored. I think it’s the MCs that I’m not connecting with their banter is funny now and again but they aren’t making me swoon.

Accidental marriage in a mafia book is so different. I really like that cause that’s something you don’t really get in books surrounding the mafia it’s usually arranged or forced marriage. The MCs are funny and the banter keeps things alive. I’m glad miscommunication isn’t a driving force. Overall again solid 4 ⭐️ it’s just that her earlier books lack character depth compared to recent ones.
