Enjoyable read. Liking it so far. Planning to read the earlier books in the series.

I've hated the dialogue in every one of these novels. It's a whole new level of tard.

Vomiting. Fellatio. On the same page. This book is gross. It's like reading something written by your deranged, man-starved old aunt. (Yes, I have one of those.)

Oh thank God, the story is finally veering off the sex and back to some semblance of a plot again.

This is different from the first 3 books, where everyone launched into sex right away. And thank God for that. A good romantic buildup is important, which is present in this book. Loving that.

And the whole snard rubbish needs to be thrown away into a black-hole pit. This could have been a great series... Bummer.

Story's getting interesting. Whenever it steps away from sex, the plot starts to shine.

I've decided, I'm not buying any more of these. The 4 I bought at one go are enough, & I'm done with this series after this 4th novel. The off-world fun settings are not worth the pain of the cringy-af sex/romance.

Oh Lord in Heaven, the author found a way to include sex into the story, despite the impotent male lead. 🤦

I already know Jack and Cat's story. Why the tedious repeat info?!

So Jack's going to have a more active role in this novel, then? Like an ensemble cast, maybe?

The setup for the story is good, and the romantic leads seem to be different from the previous ones. Both seem to be hurt by life and emotionally shut down.
