Status Updates From The Scarlett Pimpernel

My boys do not share my eagerness to get back to school, but I decided we're going to work on our vocab by reading this classic aloud. The youngest was eager, remembering our Princess Bride read aloud, the oldest (15) no so much, but he got no choice. :) However, after reading ch1, he came back an hour later and randomly told me he really liked it and was looking forward to me reading next--Score!

The fact that so many people these days haven't even read this book is a crime.

So far, it is good! Accents are a bit interesting, but after a bit, you grow used to it.

Omg I get it, your husband is a dimwitted fool, can we now stop calling him dumb in 50 different ways?? 😭
