This poor fmc. As if the abusive childhood wasn't enough, this woman has been nothing but bloodied and brutalised since meeting the MMC. First clocked on the head by him, bloodied wrists and ankles, shot in the arm in an attack, cracked rib in another attack, and now knocked over the head (again!?) and nearly drowned. And we're only halfway in. Jesus.

I don’t even know why i am still reading this i guess it’s just i hate dnfing books but im in literal pain.

I hate this book and i can’t wait to finish and get the hell over with it.

What a fucking disappointment

The wrong use of mia instead of mio is getting to me. Is amore mio. Is mondo mio. It doesn’t seem like a very hard thing to check before publishing.

I vote for the bad guy to be the older brother everyone thinks is dead. That way both him and Amelia can recognise his voice.

If Asher IS the bad guy I’ll be so freaking disappointed. The forewarning is there but it’s too obvious to be him, Amelia recognising the voice during the attack, the flinch when she saw him afterwards, and his profound discontent towards her and his brother. Please no. It’s just so boring for the plot if it is him
