DNF-- shelved for now at 60%. Dense read, opening chapters reads like a text book; learning lots of new terminology. Carney clearly very articulate and if anything, very admirable to know our Prime Minister is so well versed on GLOBAL financial markets. Will try to finish/ re-read sections again... shelved

DNF-- 60% thru. Shelved for now: beginning reads like a text book, very cerebral, dense, LONG book.

A technical read, I’m encouraged the author is now our Prime Minister. If he holds to the values outlined, including his emphasis on taking climate change seriously, and remains in office for a time, our country will be a better place and an example of common decency and sustainability around the world. In a time of narcissistic U.S. leadership, I am heartened by this book. There remains some good in politics.
